Ground(ed) Chicken on Lake Tawakoni (Humor?)

If you’ve ever met my wife Tempo then you know about her sense of Humor and generally sunny view of life.

She’s just a good person and fun to be around. One thing she dislikes though is to be the subject of one of my videos. I guess it makes her feel awkward. However, we’ve discussed and agreed that the Humorhuman interest factor of video, as it relates to gaining interest in our blog, has a real upside. Plus, she’s funny and has a wonderful sense of humor!!

Our new RV lifestyle has evolved into a typical pattern whereby Tempo performs most of the inside duties including the cooking and cleaning and I perform most of the outside duties which involves the driving and mechanical stuff (read as cleaning the black and grey tanks and all of the other dirty work). I’m always amazed at the dinners she prepares. I mean, we don’t eat this well at home! So on this crisp and damp (think “blue”) fall evening at Lake Tawakoni State Park Tempo agreed to let me make a video recording of her preparing what I call “Ground(ed) Chicken”. Tempo calls this Monterey Chicken. (You be the judge!)

The result was unexpected, but, typical Tempo good humor. Enjoy!

P.S. We never did figure out which one of us actually ate the ground(ed) chicken!

Hi, I'm Gonzo (call sign "Ironman"). I like to think of myself as an ordinary guy making the "next thing" happen now. I live and work in Texas with my wife, call sign "Tempo" and our fur babies AussieOne, Red and Griz (call signs of course). Together we make up a merry band of travelers wandering in search of extraordinary experiences, good wine and the occasional craft beer. Thank you for your interest in our blog! Cheers!
